Our Flame Cutting and Plasma Cutting machines can burn any carbon steel
up to 8" in thickness, in any size material. Provide us with your
drawings or select from our library of 50 standard shapes for cutting.
Our computerized equipment and skilled operators will consistently deliver
precision cut shapes.
Our technicians have expertise forming parts of any shape and of varying thickness and
materials for both industrial and precision clients. We can form shapes up to 10' x 16'.
Shearing
If your project requires straight edge cutting of any type of plate steel
of custom sizes up to
1" thick and 16 feet in length, Northern Illinois Steel has your
solution.
Our industrial steel saw capabilities include cutting up to 20" x 24" in any steel component such as beams, channels, rounds, tubing, angles etc. We have the additional capability to cut beams as large as 40".
Our rebar bender can be set to accurately bend any angle from 0-180 degrees.
Our plate roller can fabricate material up to 20 feet in length. From cylinders to cone shapes to buckets, we have all your rolling needs covered.
Utilizing a punch press is a cost effective way to create round holes, slotted holes or square openings in a variety of plate steel. For any type of hole punching, this process is much more efficient than traditional drilling, and this efficiency saves money!
Northern Illinois Steel performs a variety of MIG, TIG, or stick rod procedures on any type of material. Our craftsmen are all industry certified and capable of handling simple to complex weld assemblies. Whether your project is high volume or low volume, our seasoned welders can meet your production requirements.
In order to satisfy the needs of customers who require their components to be delivered complete, we offer painting services. Whether your job requires a simple base coat of primer, or needs a finish application, our paint team is capable of delivering shining results!
